The South in Crisis. Lets Talk
On the 25/01/2013 between 12:00 and 15:00 (local time) at the Athina 9.84 amphitheater Technopolis- Gazi (Athens) we are organising a discussion bearing the title “The South in Crisis: Time for a Southern Progressive Response?”
Speakers:
Spain: Miguel Angel Martίnez, MEP – Vice-President of the European Parliament
Greece: Marilena Koppa, MEP – Coordinator of the Socialists and Democrats Group in the Subcommittee of Security and Defence.
Italy: Leonardo Domenici, MEP –  former Mayor of Florence.
Portugal: Joao Ribeiro, International Secretary of the Socialist Party (P.S.).

Carlos de Sousa Santos, Youth Empowerment Unit Coordinator, Braga 2012: European Youth Capital.

Hannes Swoboda, President of the Socialists and Democrats Group in the European Parliament, will open the discussion.
